Job Description

The company wishes to appoint a US based sales leader to develop business across the US using their successful formula. Of the many end-use market sectors the first hire is to be focused on the supply of pigments, additives, resins and other key raw materials for the paints and coatings market and also the masterbatch sector. 

We are therefore looking for experienced sales professionals with extensive experience selling differentiated chemicals products into paint and coatings formulators and also the masterbatch sector. A background in agency sales or distribution would also help to understand and sell the value proposition of the business.

Individuals can be home based anywhere in the US, with a slight preference (given the end-use industries) of the North East corridor, Chicago area or Houston / SE. 

Job Requirements

 – Extensive experience selling additives chemicals to formulators of paints and coatings or the masterbatch sector. You are most likely working with a distrubution company currently and looking for something new.

– Skilled at selling value propositions to enable clients to have confidence in accepting new sources of supply for key raw materials.

-Drive, initiative, skilled at territory planning, market assessment, business development and being able to open the door to potential clients. Superior communication skills.

-Extensive, well established and trusted contacts with potential clients across North America.

-Attracted by a leveraged pay structure which will reward performance with a cash bonus but also an executive share option plan for potential future wealth generation.
