Job Description

An opportunity has arisen to join the US organisation as Senior US Regional Sales Manager to be part of the company’s expansion and business growth. The successful candidate will be able to shape and build the role as the company grows. The successful candidate will report directly to the VP North America as well as the Owner/CEO and will assume direct responsibility and accountability for a revenue stream within the US.

The job will require focused, productive business travel in order to raise awareness, build trust and establish enduring customer relationships. Planning, new business development an attention to detail and strong communication /negotiation skills are paramount for this role, as well as an inherent ability to work under pressure and multi-task.

Job Requirements

• Proven experience selling biocides, antimicrobials or preservatives for industrial applications across North America, in any of the sectors; Paint, Coatings, Water, Adhesives, HI&I, Personal Care, Construction, and Polymers markets.
• Experience in market planning, new client acquisition and key account management are all of value, with an emphasis on pioneering new account development.
• Strong personal motivation to grow sales in a wide territory and independence of thinking and initiative is required. At the same time a willingness to learn and work in a close-knit team is important.
• As the business is based on two sciences; chemistry and microbiology, it is preferred that candidates have a science background in either discipline, ideally with a proven technical background in Biocides or related products.
